The City’s 7th annual Workforce Development Month takes place in October. Throughout the month, Toronto Employment & Social Services and our partners will host events that connect job seekers and employers, as well as events that provide information about City services and community supports.

Workforce Development Month highlights the many ways the City assists job seekers and employers through engaging residents to participate in events that connect them to services and job opportunities. These efforts not only advance workforce development in Toronto, but also support the objectives of key City strategies such as poverty reduction, anti-black racism, and those for youth, newcomers and seniors.

In an effort to share information about Workforce Development Month, please find attached a brief article which you may include in upcoming communications with your constituents.
