Last summer, Plaza Partners shared their pre-Application proposal for 1053 Don Mills Rd and 2, 4, 6 The Donway East with my office. This proposal included the construction of four residential buildings ranging in height from 16 to 32 storeys, a new public park, and a new public street.

I was very concerned about the impact of the Application on the community and the existing tenants, so we asked the developer to hold a pre-Application community consultation meeting. Following this, they submitted their application in October 2021. Currently, the application is being circulated to City Divisions so they can provide a detailed technical review.

The formal Community Consultation took place on April 11 2022.  

Planning Staff will use residents’ feedback about the Application from this meeting to inform their recommendation report.
